Erin Williams (EE. UU.)

Erin D. Williams, a lawyer and bioethicist, currently serves a Specialist in Public Health and Bioethics with the Congressional Research Service in Washington, DC. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the Foundation for Genetic Medicine, Inc., and as an Assistant Professor of Law, Policy & Ethics at George Mason University's School of Computational Sciences. In all of these of these roles, Ms. Williams identified and sought to address issues related to the bioethics, law, and policy of medical product development, genetics, research, health delivery systems, the environment, equity, and related global issues. She is also the primary author of the book Health Care at the Abyss: Managed Care vs. the Goals of Medicine (William S. Hein & Co., Inc., 1997).

A graduate of University of Virginia, and of Washington University in St. Louis Law School, Ms. Williams resides in Reston, Virginia with her husband and her son.
